Growing children need more sleep than adults, being approximately 12 to 14 hours each day. Allowing your children to sleep on their own beds not only gives them the liberty to sleep in any comfortable position they want but also reduces external movements and disturbances that might otherwise disrupt their sleep.
I feel designing Kids furniture, specially a Bed is very interesting as well as a tough job. It involves ergonomics, psychology and many more things. that’s why I choose to design bed for kids.

Let’s see, how and where our little friends sleeps !

Meet Ananya ! very energetic and talkative.
A 6 year old girl lives in Pune with her parents and grand parents.

Her parents are using mattress for Ananya because of safety reasons. While sleeping she roles so to restrict her movements parents taught her to build her own house using pillows. now, she imagine herself as an Elsa from Frozen movie and her toys are her bodyguards. She sleeps everyday in that pillow house.

Neel ! Too loving and Sincere boy.
A 4 year old boy lives in Pune with her parents.

Neel have separate bed of Doremon theme. The width of his bed is very uncomfortable for him to sleep on, that’s why he use it only in day time as a sitting furniture.
At night parent takes him to their bed because it has no borders for safety.

Small Parts and Choking Hazards: Regulations may address the size of parts and components to prevent choking hazards. This is especially relevant for items like toys that are integrated into furniture.
-
Mechanical Hazards: Safety standards may cover moving parts such as hinges, drawer slides, or other mechanisms to ensure they don't pose a risk of injury.
-
